When to change your tyres
The legal minimum tread depth for cars in the UK is 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tyre. Many drivers choose to change earlier, around 3mm, because stopping distances increase as tread wears.
Seasonal swaps
If you keep a set of winter tyres, we can swap them on your wheels or on a second set of wheels at your address.

Common questions
How do I check my tread depth?
Use a tread depth gauge, or the 20p test: if the outer band of a 20p coin is hidden when placed in the groove, the tread is above the legal limit. A gauge is more accurate.
